Designed in 1928 by engineer Bonicelli in the Art Deco style, the Teatro Astra  features valuable architectural and decorative elements, further enhanced by its restoration in 2006, which combined the preservation of what already existed and the addition of new functional features, while also highlighting the historical stratification of the building. The theatre, with its two halls totalling four hundred seats, has been the institutional home of the Fondazione Teatro Piemonte Europa since 2009.
