The Show

A famous Swedish singer, an artistic skating champion, a stage actress,an unequalled boxer, a siren... Gloria wanted to be all of these! Obsessed with appeasing her hunger for the ideal, she has launched herself into a feverish quest, a search to live and relive the fantasies, images and memories that haunt her.
Then there is another Gloria. An inner Gloria, whom we cannot see, the invisible part, like a ghostly presence that never leaves her. This project is developed as a meeting point between circus and film.
With this duo on the corde lisse and cloud swing, the two acrobats make the most mundane, fleeting moments extraordinary. A series of tableaux or sequences, with no transition, like negatives or a film storyboard, a detail, a zoom, a ring, a repetition, slowing down to leave room for the ghosts that haunt them, make them dream and inspire them, like in a surrealist ballet.

The Troupe

Tom Beccara fell in love with the circus and its practices at a very early age. When he was 18, he entered IAD and studied film in the directing department.
At the same time, he collaborated with various circus and theatre companies. Directing À Nos Fantômes was a clear indication that his career would link the circus with film. Célia Casagrande-Pouchet started out in music and dance but the she developed a passion for anything to do with clowning and body expression, the theatre and climbing. After the ENACR, where she started on cloud swing, she continued her training at ESAC. After gaining experience in street shows, she was again ready to take to the stage, in the theatre. She is also working on the show Borderland by Cirque Pardi. Sarah Devaux started with circus at the age of fourteen and specialised in corde lisse, studying at ESAC, from where she graduated in 2014.  At the same time, she played a role in the show Péripéties by Valérie Dubourg. In À Nos Fantômes, she seeks to re-examine her circus techniques and use them for dramatic expression.
